worthwhile wednesday: handsin.

April 8, 2009

HandsIn is brand new. Brand spanking new. But they’ve already made a name for themselves.

Their mission? Simple.

The vision of HandsIn is a world community that meets the expectations of those who dare to dream of more.  A global society of service where everyone contributes, everyone is invested, everyone does more, changes more, helps more, and aims to be more than ever before.

Here’s how I’ve translated this one. As 20-somethings, we have the world at our fingertips. We have the best education, we have the best communication tools, and we have the best intentions.

Let’s band together and make the best change.

I really dig what they stand for.

(Even if they are horrribly ageist.)

That’s awesome. Us Melenials need to tap into those types of things. This is our world and we need to take our stake in it. (That was terribly cliche… I apologize.)

Hey, I found this on StumbleUpon and I thought you may want to highlight it on a worthwhile Wednesday… depending on your view of the topic of course.
