I always go to bars alone…which makes me sound like I have a problem.
But, ya know, if I got time to kill, why not?
I like the word, VLOG. Mainly because when I say it out loud I linger on the “g” for an extended period of time that makes no sense at all. So I end up saying, “Vloggggggggggg,” and having dead eyes. It’s cost me at least 4 friends.

I love when you do vlogs! Someday I think I’ll work up the courage to do one. I don’t like how I sound though. Anyways- I can totally relate! Sorta. I didn’t actually make it to the date, but the day before, I hadn’t heard from this guy. I felt like we hit it off talking via online dating site, but then I just didn’t hear from him and the date was drawing near. So I cancelled on him. He replied to my msg 2 days after our “date day” saying that he’s glad I didn’t go because he wasn’t going to show up. He had a pool tourney the night before and got so wasted that he was too hungover the next day. Um thanks? I don’t have the guts yet to go out to a bar by myself though. Maybe someday! But good for you! Glad to hear you met someone new then :)
I’m enjoying your new trend of vlogging. How else was I going to find out that your eyes were a deeper blue than I remembered? Ha, glad it worked out in the end on Sunday.
Also, I believe the proper moral of the story for gentlemen is, if you see a good-looking girl looking downcast at a bar, talk to her, she may just be looking for someone like you.

I love that you’re vlogging. That’s a great way to get out of the writing rut. It’s also fun to be able to put your voice/personality with your posts.
I can’t believe you got stood up. Dude missed out. But it sounds like it worked out for you. Kudos to you for taking yourself out. I would have been tempted to just go back home, which would end up being a waste of all my prep time (flat ironing your hair is definitely an investment). I’ll have to remember this.
