Surprise! A blog post from me!
It’s been approximately 5 months since the last time I blogged… I slowed down a bit while I was job hunting, and then ultimately shut this operation down permanently when it ended up costing me a job opportunity.
Apparently I’m too wild for a conservative company? Who knew.
Anyway, it was a long summer of feeling kind of out of the loop in the blogging world and struggling with whether I could still call myself a blogger or not. When you do something pretty consistently for more than 2 years, it’s hard to disconnect from that identity.
But then I found myself longing for an outlet, a place to wax poetic about things I care about. I thought about starting over completely, but ultimately decided to just rebrand a little bit, become a bit less Google-able, and clean things up to better reflect who I am today rather than highlighting the words and choices of my past.
So here I am, 5 months post-grad, living in Atlanta full time and getting closer and closer to finding the perfect job. I’ve got a new apartment all to myself and the same boyfriend who is now 10 minutes away instead of a plane ride. I survived the summer heat in the south and I’m looking forward to enjoying a short and mild winter while my friends and family up north are buried in snow for months on end.
(On that note, if anyone wants to escape to the south for a bit, come visit me!)
So here I am, 23 years old and loving life.

Glad you’re back! I’ve come and gone as a blogger as well and just recently moved to PrettyLittleReckless. Not that I’m reckless? but the name is fun and previous blog was compromised by IRL people reading/stalking. I look forward to reading more :)
Gotta love that anonymity challenge, right?! I started off that way but pretty much just gave up after a while because it became too hard to hide!

THIS looks fantastic. I love it. You know a bit about where I’ve been… loving Colorado, loving my current work situation, and finally getting ready to do some yoga stuff soon. I drink a lot of wine, still eat a lot of cheese, and spend a lot of time on Chelsea’s couch doing both of those things. OH! And loving the Trader Joe’s goodness you sent. LOVE. I’ve missed your words here, welcome back!

Also I joined a kickball league. Except my team loses every game. We did win our first game but that was because the other team forfeited… Apparently they had gone out for a team dinner bonding session the night before the game and all ended up with food poisoning hahaha.

I started blogging under my middle name a year ago because I was worried it might be a problem in my job search that I have a public blog. I graduated in July, and while my blog is still public, has photos etc. there’s less of a chance of a potential employer finding it by googling. I hope you’ll be posting again more regularly.
